Dr. Narayan P Survase

Dr. Narayan Survase is a Physician based at Udgir town in Maharashtra. After completing his MBBS from Nagpur's Govt. Medical College (GMC) in 1997, he obtained the MD postgraduate degree in Medicine at the same institution. He served as Assistant Professor for about a year in the Department of Medicine at GMC, before assuming the post of Consultant Physician at Survase Hospital & ICU in Udgir (2003-2009).

Dr Narayan Survase is one of the founder members and board of directors of Udaygiri Multispeciality Hospital, Udgir. Complicated medical cases and high-risk surgeries are managed here with the help of a team of physicians, surgeons, anaesthetists and assisting staff.

Dr. Survase is currently secretary of the Udaygiri Medical Foundation. He has worked extensively on cases of diabetes mellitus, coronary artery disease (CAD), stroke, etc, especially for financially needy patients. Towards this end he has also arranged free diagnostic and preventive health camps at various rural locations including Dewani, Jalkot, Walandi, Kanegaon, etc. Dr. He is also the chairman of the Rajabai Memorial Institutional Trust, which under his mentorship has started conducting diabetes awareness and treatment camps on a monthly basis.

Dr. Survase also conducts a monthly session for office workers, and the Art of Parenting workshop for parents annually. Through his workshops and camps, he creates awareness of the hazards of tobacco and suggests methods to quit tobacco usage and smoking, with a vision that Udgir will eventually be tobacco-free.
